Wind Hail Sun and Pike
I had the morning on the local gravel pit/pond today. I was expecting a nice day but when I got there it was blowing a freezing cold wind, along with the odd downpour of hail stones! But I stuck it out and was rewarded with this hard fighting beauty! Covered in leeches, especially under the fins.
Not sure about those spex ;-)

Nice fish! Did you manage to rid it of some of those parasite's? Horrible things...
Hi Bazz, I've had pike before with a few parasites on them, but this one was infested! I gave her a good clean up before I put her back.
The double i caught in the B.P. had a couple, they ended up on my unhooking mat, and then under my boot.
