This evening I had a couple of enjoyable hours fishing a neglected part of The Trent that I've not fished since I was a young lad! Well, it has been neglected for years but the bailiff (John Wood) has recently done a great job strimming back the nettles and brambles to make it accessible again so I had a wander along with a couple of lures and ended the evening with a nice Jack.Click the pic for full size
Summer pike are great fun... Like you I'm out in the evening or at first light... seems to be the time for the best action! Nice photo.
