I had this pretty little one from The Trent today. The river is very clear at the moment and I saw the fish shoot out from a weed bed and grab my lure as I twitched it over the top.
Well done Daz, I know they dont fight like a Jumper but at least they fight haha, Well done and Alex is right there are some nice markings on the Pike, ,,,Paddy,,,
Cheers Bazz, Put the Harley Davidson back into the shed and come out and chuck some lures into the river ;) Hope you're keeping good and hope to see you soon mate
Hello MasterBaits?? The Beeston section is good but I prefer it above the weir and along the back of the gravel pits, there seems to be a few along there. I've alvays found the pits hard work but the pegs close to the rickety bridges seem to be best. Cheers mate, let me know how you get on.

Hi mate,
I go knocking round the trent mainly the beeston section, below the wier. Can you recommend anywhere else around there? what are the gravil pits like?
Nice fish mate, best of luck for the season ahead. Keep up the good work.
